Real estate tech · Transaction coordination
Two businesses fighting inside one HubSpot. We mapped both journeys and built a unified machine that personalizes itself.
The challenge
The machine was leaking
Transactly runs two business units in one company: Transactly, a high-touch, sales-led platform for agents and brokerages, and Connect, a scale-driven, content-led concierge service for homebuyers. Very different journeys, one HubSpot instance.
Lifecycle stages weren't standardized, signup paths weren't tracked, onboarding was inconsistent, and reporting was patchy. Both teams needed better data, better segmentation, and an onboarding experience that matched how customers actually moved through the brand.
The solution
What we mapped and installed
We built a unified but flexible HubSpot framework — restructuring onboarding and communications to reflect the real customer experience rather than the org chart.
That meant structured onboarding checklists, automated welcome sequences, lead scoring, and behavior-based email logic, with contact ownership, lifecycle progression, and nurture suppression all handled automatically. On the Connect side, we optimized content strategy, form structure, and SEO to lift top-of-funnel performance.
Throughout, we met with multiple internal teams — not just to gather requirements, but to understand the goal behind the goal, so the systems we recommended aligned with the wider business.
The results
What changed
Transactly now has full visibility into each client journey. The system personalizes outreach automatically based on signup path, lifecycle stage, and engagement history.
For the team, the shift was dramatic — automation freed up hours of bandwidth and let them get proactive and sales-driven. What began as an ops cleanup became a partnership to drive more revenue.
“Braden Cousin is a marketing wizard! I had the pleasure of working with him for about 6 months to improve our client journey and onboarding process. His passion and understanding in his field seeped through in everything he did. He was able to draw out of me all the data needed to create something special. If you're looking for marketing strategies to scale your business, Braden is your guy!”
